Tickets
Where do I buy tickets?
We use different ticketing platforms depending on the event. Every event page on this site has a Buy Tickets button that takes you to the right platform for that event, and the button names it — for example, tickets for Vinod Rathod Live in Concert are sold through EventBaba. Only buy through the link on the event page. We do not sell tickets at the door unless an event page says otherwise.
Will I get a physical ticket?
No. Whichever platform an event uses will email you an e-ticket with a QR code. Show it on your phone at the door — no need to print it. Check your junk folder if it has not arrived within ten minutes.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Only if the event has not sold out, and only where the event page says door sales are available. Door prices are higher than online prices. For seated concerts we strongly recommend booking ahead.
I have not received my ticket. What do I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder first, then contact the ticketing platform you bought from, since they hold the booking record. The platform is named on the event page and in your confirmation email. If you are still stuck, email us and we will help you chase it.
Refunds and changes
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
No. Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind. This is standard for live events and is permitted under Australian Consumer Law, which does not require refunds for change of mind.
What if the event is cancelled or rescheduled?
If we cancel an event, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. If we reschedule, your ticket is valid for the new date, and you may request a refund instead if the new date does not suit you. Refunds are processed by the ticketing platform you bought from, back to the card you paid with.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. E-tickets are not name-checked at the door, so you can forward yours to a friend. For reserved seating, please let us know so our door team is not confused by the name on the list.
On the day
Is there parking?
Parking arrangements differ by venue. Every event page has a Parking section under Practical information. For our Auburn events there is free on-site parking plus street parking, but it fills quickly on Saturday evenings.
Is the venue accessible?
Our venues have step-free entry and accessible toilets, and we hold wheelchair spaces in the reserved seating rows. Please contact us before you book so we can allocate a suitable position rather than trying to move people on the night.
Is there food available?
Yes. Our melas run full food and market stall precincts, and our concerts have Indian food stalls in the foyer. Both cash and card are accepted.
Do children need a ticket?
For seated concerts, children under 3 enter free on a parent's lap and all other children need a ticket. Our melas are generally free entry for children. Always check the specific event page.
What time should I arrive?
It depends which kind of event you are coming to.
Our melas are outdoor, daytime festivals — come and go as you please any time the gates are open. Early afternoon is quietest, late afternoon is busiest, and the main stage programme builds towards the evening.
Our concerts, comedy nights, talent quests and pageants are indoor evening events with a fixed start time. Doors usually open an hour beforehand and the show starts on time. Arriving 30 to 45 minutes early gets you parked, seated and fed without stress.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
No. Outside food and drink are not permitted at any of our events, including the melas. Every event has food and drink stalls on site, and our melas run a full food precinct with a wide range of options.
Alcohol is not permitted at any of our events either. The Regency, where we hold our concerts and pageants, is an unlicensed venue — no alcohol is sold there and none may be brought in.
We make sensible exceptions for baby food and formula, and for food you need for a medical condition or allergy. Just let the staff on the gate know.
Working with us
I am a performer. How do I get on your stage?
Send us your material through the Artist Enquiries page. We programme melas around six months ahead and concerts around nine months ahead, so early is better.
I want a food or market stall at your mela.
Apply through the Vendor & Stall Applications page. You will need public liability insurance and, for food stalls, current council registration and a food safety supervisor.
How do I sponsor an event?
Start with the Sponsors & Partners page, download the sponsorship pack, then get in touch. We can build a package around a single event or a full year.
Still stuck?
Send us a message and we will come back to you, usually within two business days. For anything urgent on an event day, give us a call.
